I have strategically chosen four primary activities to prepare for the responsibilities of the

- Seeking out and listening to local experiences that people have with the Clerk’s office.
- Receiving coaching from a veteran staff of the Clerk’s office.
- Speaking with local law enforcement and attorneys who frequently engage with the Clerk of Court office.
- Regularly reading the “On the Civil Side” blog from the UNC School of Government.
